May 7, 2023 - Joy's 43rd (Our house): Magnum. Quintessential warm-vintage Nebbiolo, with darker (almost balsamic) fruit, a musky, gauzy quality, some cherry menthol and a sense of generosity rather than acidity. Really easy for everyone to enjoy, and great with ribeye steak. Suspect at peak, as I can see this type of wine becoming brownish and flat if left for too long.

March 29, 2020 - Belle couleur, nez exressif, typé nebbiolo, menthe, èpicé, bouche douce, équilibrée, tannins présents mais. très souples, bel équilibre, manque sans doute un peu de corps, 2022-2025

    June 21, 2019 - Keeps improving.
Core of fresh red fruit lifted by roses, menthol and pine. Fine but biting tannins finishing with rounded tobacco.

May 18, 2016 - Elegant medium bodied wine. Soft red, with a bit of bricking just starting at the edge. Cherry, baking spice, tart strawberry, and medium finish. Food friendly.

December 19, 2015 - This was a fruit forward version with little interest. Technically correct and fairly pleasant but lacking any unique character
Drink near term for the fruit.

April 11, 2015 - A Total Wine direct import (like most wines at Total Wine). For the price it's an enjoyable drink, and this was a vintage of high temperatures so it's ready to drink. So open knit and fleshy, I didn't find it intriguing. Maybe some more time will do it good, let all that fruit settle down.
