September 20, 2014 - Unscrewed and followed for a few hours. Very slight spritz. Quite a pungent nose of strawberries, black cherries, wet earth, smoke, greens, slightly decaying vegetation, raw button mushrooms with a little peat, and spice. Cranberry, red cherry, bitter cherry pit, spice, and earth on the palate. Tart acidity, lightly grippy tannins, medium+ finish, good focus. A bit light on the mid-palate. This wine is *really* pushing the earthy side, and I'm not getting a lot of pleasure from it (other than looking at the label). It does grow on you though, and I can appreciate that it's very well made.

February 9, 2013 - Littorai, Burn Cottage and Evesham Wood tasting (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): An interesting phosphor and green stalk nose that is very expressive, despite it's young age. The palette is savoury and full of interesting, spicy acid.
