March 17, 2014 - Very pleasant nose with cranberry and red fruit. Unfortunately, the wine was quite unbalanced with high alcohol (almost 15% for a merlot!) dominating the blend, not allowing the fruit to show through.

August 4, 2013 - Very light in color. Spicy smell of paprika, pie crust and baked cherries. Delicate and smooth taste of strawberries. Short finish.

The palate is loaded with chocolate and red fruit flavors letting up just a touch toward the finish. 95% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc. 14.4% alcohol. 1,250 cases produced.
