January 10, 2017 - Full, rich, rounded and fairly dry. The score reflects what I feel its quality to be; too dry for me and confirms that I am not fond of dry sherry in any form - a pity since they are great wines.

October 24, 2014 - molasses/ malt and some smokiness on the nose
just a touch of sweetness, and then becomes really really dry
some caramel and then lots of nuts, mainly walnuts
seeps to alternate between dry and then little toffee notes
    long
Good stuff. Good in cooking too.

April 8, 2014 - Medium intensity aromas of prunes, varnish, almonds, coffee and caramel. The wine is off-dry with a low acidity. It has a high alcohol, it's full-bodied and it has medium+ intensity flavours of prunes, varnish, almonds coffee and toffee. The finish is medium+. Good quality wine.

December 6, 2013 - Red-brown to gold in the glass. Honeyed nose. Dried fruit and nuts on the palate; fruit cake, this, yet distinctly dry, with a long, toasty, creamy finish.

February 12, 2011 - Light mahogany with aromas of candied fruit and roasted nuts. Full and dense with rich nutty flavours and a lovely subtle saltiness. Intense yet clean and refreshing; well balanced and very enjoyable.

March 24, 2010 - Glossy nut brown. Open, generous nose with dried fruits, orange peel and toffee. Well structured, light on the entry then reveals hazlenuts, raisiny dried fruits and a lovely malty caramel flavour on the finish.
