February 18, 2024 - This is over the hill. I really tried to make it work. I think all the bottles went through heat of something. I did not buy them new. I hope someone has better luck with them
August 16, 2023 - Just note working for me. Not enough fruit or strucutre. Maybe past it’s window or bad storage.
February 26, 2023 - After I opened the bottle it seemed smoky and dry. I was worried about the structure and finish. It never really came around. The next day it was better but still not what I would expect from a CdP.
May 18, 2022 - À maturité mais se gardera encore quelques années . Un beau Châteauneuf , ayant désormais développé de la complexité , poli, et gardant une bonne fraîcheur pour l’appellation .
March 13, 2021 - Solid if unspectacular effort. Nose of cooked cherry and kind of earthy. Solid purple color and no bricking. Kind of a one-note palet. Red fruit and decent acidity. Not sure that it has any upward room for improvement.
December 31, 2018 - Drinking very well. Popped and poured. Solid but translucent purple. Classic CDP notes of cooked cherries and earth on the nose and nice red fruits and kirsch on the palate. Low acidity and well integrated tannins.
May 17, 2017 - Nose of dry fruits: cherries, ripe strawberries, raisins. Translucent color, light and brilliant. Mild acidity, mild tannins. May need more time to develop character -- finish is clean, brief. No oak: dominant sensation is dry fruit and slight tartness. Enjoyed with goat cheese
October 12, 2014 - bright red fruit, raspberry with some chocolate. Still rather chunky, but settling down from a year ago. Nice value CNdP
July 18, 2014 - medium purple. Bright raspberry (with some chocolate), fairly sweet and chunky, a bit rustic. May need to settle down a bit.
November 23, 2013 - Rather reticent nose that suggests roses, lavender and incense. Cherry flavors on the palate with vanilla, garrigue and a touch of menthol. Soft tannins and good acidity.
