September 8, 2014 - Loads of fruit. Drinking very well, but I'll let my other bottle sit for awhile.

July 15, 2014 - Opened about an hour prior to serving. Pours a dark garnet with slight paling towards the rim.

The nose is delightful, with a touch of herbaceous greenness framing ripe cassis and black cherry along with notes of cocoa and a dusty minerality that I found quite compelling. This is a complete wine, from beginning to end, and one of the best Sojourn wines I've yet tasted. Will be better with several more years cellaring.

June 28, 2014 - Vinturied into decanter ... This really hit its stride after being open about 45 min. Chocolate-covered cherries, dry tannic backbone and just a hint of game and smoke. Quite good, if still a bit young.

May 26, 2014 - I just love this vineyard, always works for me. No official notes but always a favorite where ever I bring. Looking forward to see what 2012 brings.
