    October 11, 2023 - 尝。稀淡气味,口中什么都没有。这块地,这样,太失败了

June 3, 2023 - Just a typical amazing Burgundy. Super floral on the nose, a great structure, and a fine balance of fruit, acidity is clearly evident.

What I am not sure about is, if age/maturity has done any modification to the wine as I tried a younger one and there is not much difference, to me.

November 2, 2022 - Light garnet, definite evolution at the rim. The nose is mostly sousbois, with some red cherry and dried cranberry. Oak is completely integrated. I did feel the palate was a little out of balance with very high acidity (on the border of tart) and not enough fruit to balance it out. Very light dusting of tannins. I tend to to prefer a more austere style of red Burgundy but this was pushing it for me. I plan to drink my remaining 2 bottles sooner rather than later.

July 19, 2022 - Sommelier Scholarship Fund Tasting (Popina - Brooklyn NY): Walk around tasting. Ripe enough red cherry throughout, slightly firm but well balanced, especially for the vintage. Good+ depth and length, this is good now.

March 11, 2022 - La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Plenty of red cherry, nothing bitter or green, but certainly still firm. That said, there is a lot here, so this manages to retain its balance with good+ depth, this is good now.

January 30, 2021 - Eh. I do like the new approachable style of Faiveley but this felt out of balance throughout. Oak on the initial nose was hard to shake, but eventually it dissipated after an hour. The texture was very nice but palate was thinner than I would hope, even for 2011. No green flavors here but some lack of fruit keeps this from being fully enjoyable. It’s early and i have a few more bottles but the initial imbalance makes me skeptical that it will get a lot better.

November 24, 2017 - HowardNZ's note says it pretty well, though I didn't come to the same overall conclusion... this wine left me with an impression of jumbled, sort of fighting against itself, won't fall into the camp of "too simple" or "too primary" for sure, might come out as a super complex, multi-layered wine in ten years -- or maybe just jumbled and dis-jointed... won't be a re-buy for me

November 17, 2017 - 2011 Les Saint Georges tasting: My WOTN. Musky, red and black berry fruit, brambles with rose florals and dusty minerals. On palate, very young, broad shouldered, powerful and weighty. Impressively structured, both in tannins and acids. Firm, taut and with a solid iron core. 'A beast - yet to come together' said Clive. A totally unresolved wine but, I thought, with all of the material needed, like a young Grand Cru, to be outstanding. 'The best balanced wine, with no hint of green', said Nick. I'd give it another five years, minimum.
