November 7, 2013 - One of the better roses I've had. Not on the light side but a bit deeper and richer than most.
September 7, 2013 - It has ripe strawberry fruit on the front end and finishes with grippy lemon rind and grapefruit flavors.
August 26, 2013 - Very fresh, fruity and full-bodied Rosé. A little sparkling, lovely.
August 13, 2013 - Pours out a coppery rose color with aromas of citrus and tea rose, the Tavel is crisp with a good minerality and a soft undercurrent of tea rose flavor.
May 31, 2013 - Strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Strawberry and raspberry continues on the palate along with pomegranate. Good acidity and structure. Long finish with a slight bitterness at the end.
April 25, 2013 - PnP. Didn't take detailed notes. Had some good "weight" but was maybe a bit more round than I was expecting. Pleasant on our first nice spring day but not a wow bottle.
March 28, 2013 - This had more tannin and red wine characteristics than my previous Tavel roses. It was served straight from the fridge--probably 40F. Only when it hit 60F was it truly enjoyable. The fruit blossomed and balanced out the dryness. Very enjoyable and unique.
March 3, 2013 - From 375, muddled but pleasant; I'd prefer more zing, or more substance, or preferably both
February 12, 2013 - this vintage seems to have a bit more oak than any other vintage ive ever tasted of this wine. not too overdone, just a bit weird. the acidity was not as bright with this vintage either.
January 19, 2013 - Would certainly buy again.
