June 25, 2022 - Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner with Musicians (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Musty cork once the cork was finally extracted, but this brightened up quickly showing fully mature red cherry and berry with black truffle and earth. Some dried rose petal emerged after a few more minutes before this started slowly fading. Lots here to enjoy.

January 31, 2014 - Burg Dinner with Friends...and LaTache (RPM Italian - Chicago IL): I thought I would bring this along since we were going to enjoy a '73 LT, even though this came from the vintage before DRC took over farming Marey-Monge's RSV holdings. Fill level and color were very good. Started with enticing spice and earthy aromas and elegant flavors. After 15-20 minutes this became less interesting with acidity becoming more pronounced, but earth and spice re-emerged ad this seemed to pick up weight and length 45 minutes after opened, and stayed interesting for almost 2 hours.
