February 4, 2023 - Wine meet – Chambertin @ Lars: Fine pinot-nose with both red and mainly dark fruits. Full-bodied, dense and very long with impeccable balance and noticable but smooth tannins. Still young with great upside - although it was very pleasurable now.

June 7, 2020 - Perfectly mature (but in no way declining), this has sous bois, a rich velvety fruit, a manly core with som toasted notes. Cork less than pristine, but the wine - oh så very good, indeed, almost build for the stuffed morel; a match made in heaven

April 13, 2020 - Wonderful. Still full of fruit, raspberry, stewed strawberry, blueberry, with red cherries and a touch of creosote. Crisp and elegant, velvety mouthfeel with hints of vanilla, marked acidity, very good balance. Long. I doubt that it will get much better, so drink up.

March 9, 2019 - Had a vertical tasting 1998-2000-2002 - all tre wine were superb - 1998 had more age and more early tones and less fruit - 2000 and 2002 both had a lot of fruit - we saw medium tannins and acidity in all three wines - the favorit was either 2000 or 2002 - but all three on a very high level - my favourite was 2000 where I experienced a more perfect balance but they were all close and very good wines.

July 16, 2011 - It still needs time. Has it all, though.
