October 5, 2014 - Decanted. Perfume nose, a little sweet and some alcohol on the finish. Wife really liked it and I thought it was good, not great. Drink now and over the next 3-4 years. GOOD.

July 25, 2014 - Popped and poured, was a bit disappointed as it was sweeter than I like. But, after I let breathe about 30 mins while cooking dinner, it completely changed. Many more flavors emerged and it's flat out fantastic. Big rich flavors with touches of herbs and a finish that goes on. I want more.

April 13, 2014 - A bit decadent. Lot of blackberry and chocolate. Tannins evident but balanced by acid and fruit. Alcohol a bit high but acceptable. Main defect is alcohol on the finish.

April 13, 2014 - Opened and poured then drank the rest the following day. While it is wonderful out of the bottle a decant for an hour or two would really show it off even better. A new favorite.

March 25, 2014 - I had this with a cheese plate on 3/25/14. It had a ripe and subtle bouquet of black cherry, sage, dried herb and cola aromas. The palate was rich, dry and very drinkable with a bit of heat and flavors that followed the nose.
