August 17, 2013 - Light pink color with pale meniscus; appealing, focused, watermelon, tart cherry nose; tasty, juicy, cranberry, tart red currant palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish (70% Syrah, 20% Zinfandel, 10% Mondeuse)
August 12, 2013 - Third and final bottle for me. This showed best with a bit of air. If I owned more, I would hold it for a while or open 90 minutes early.
July 6, 2013 - Agree with other community notes - this is a bigger style, and dry. At 14% and with the depth of flavor it's more of a food wine than summer sipper. Ended up going almost solo on the bottle so tried over two days with various foods. Was best with simple homemade pizza. Wine is deeply colored, its base material comes through with more grip than most rose. deeper red fruits like cranberry on the nose. think this would have rocked with salmon. Could hold a year, but no need.
June 30, 2013 - Consistent with my 6/8 note. I find better value in Provence.
June 11, 2013 - Far too easy to drink with a creamy texture, aromas/flavors of fresh red fruits- strawberry, bright cherry, cranberry. Light acidity & moderate minerality. Nice wine.
June 8, 2013 - Deep pink and fairly dry. This has a nice nose and good initial flavors on the palate, but the acidity seems a little high to me.
June 3, 2013 - Deeper pink than most roses I have this year, fresh red berries on the nose, dry, clean finish.
May 5, 2013 - Napa Valley mountain winery visits- 4/25/13: Live almond, strawberry and peach aromas. Lush, rich and lively with strawberry, cherry and spice. Nicely ripe, full finish. Very nice.
