January 15, 2024 - From memory. Tropical notes, apples, honey suckle. Creamy mouthfeel but with plenty of acid and structure. Really great bottle. Can drink now or wait.
October 11, 2023 - Montille Corton Charlemagne 2010
Honey, rich and layered, nuts on the palate, quite intense and full bodied for a white. Nice. Good concentration. 94/100
April 16, 2023 - Corked
January 16, 2023 - Reductive aromatics more pee than matchstick, but enjoyable clean palate.
December 31, 2020 - Drinking well again.
May 23, 2020 - Straw coloured. Citrus, stone fruit, savoury notes too. Fills the mouth with flavours carried from the aromas. Good intensity through to a long finish.
February 7, 2020 - Wines for the Acker Merrall Bicentennial Auction (The Pool - New York NY): Walk around tasting. From magnum. Lots here, but seemingly very shut down. Very good length, but not particularly forthcoming. Needs more time.
February 7, 2020 - Acker 2020/02: Magnum. Highly acidic for vintage. 91
October 14, 2019 - Corton(-Charlemagne) study (Chicago, IL): This was a little more white grapey than I remember it being, but it's still a super delicious bottle of chardonnay Fairly ripe and rounded, without too much reduction. June 23, 2019 - Light hay yellow; lovely fresh intense open nose; rich and balanced, intense, flowers, vanilla, depth; truly good
