  March 5, 2021 - I didn't get all the label info, and for an NV wine, I know this is important context. What I did get was 8 years on lees so that might help. 100% Chard. Initially, this has a pie crust aroma and I am unsure if the producer uses any wood for elevage. Lime flavor, but more like a lime flesh note, with tangerine, green apple. Bright with good concentration and structure, a honeyed finish with mineral. I also retained a few ounces for the following morning and the wine had picked up a cool bitterness within the finish, something akin to a lemon pith. The intensity was also increased and the finish length was even better. This was a terrific Champagne.

  June 24, 2016 - Actually much better than I thought, this had great acidity with a finish of sweet fruit. Very nice great with the chicken we ate it with.
