April 15, 2017 - Update to a prior note. It's good, but not worth $30, which is clearly very inexpensive for a Barolo. Spend your money on a solid Rosso di Montalcino or nobile. Perhaps it's not fair to judge a barolo at 8 years but this seems light with limited upside.

January 9, 2017 - thin, tart barolo, disappointing. Reminiscent of paint primer.

November 29, 2016 - Color was amber and taste seemed off. Most likely flawed.

August 3, 2016 - Decent. Showing tobacco, dark cherries and dusty tannins. Poured through Vinturi, 2nd glass better than the first. No improvement on night #2.

May 22, 2016 - Enjoyable Barolo especially considering the price. Nose of dried cherries, strawberry, tobacco, slate. Ruby red with very slight browning wedges. Tannins were grippy and acidity was medium plus. I wouldn't drink this without food. With a red pasta meat dish, this wine was really good and became much more refreshing. I let it breathe for a few hours. For $28, why not.
