January 2, 2016 - Essentially popped and poured and followed over several hours. Expressive nose with meat and cassis with a floral elegance. Palate was rather ripe and forward, but plenty of structure.Finish was medium to long with a delicious meaty note. Really nice barolo that is well crafted for early consumption. Drinking great now.

January 1, 2016 - Very nice and enjoyable. Popped the cork about 2 hrs ahead of drinking it. Very smooth and lots of depth with a long finish. Cherry, anise, and plums on the nose. Very balanced. I really love this Barolo. Great qpr at $29.

December 24, 2015 - Decanted for a hour. Very smooth and balanced.

July 20, 2015 - Nose was floral and cherry. Unaccompanied by food, very dry and acidic. With some grilled sausage, dijon, hot sauce, and chivapi it mellowed. The fats devoured the acidity and it was enjoyable. Leaving it to breathe for an hour didn't help as much as drinking it directly from the cellar, at 58F. Not bad, for the money, could probably use more time in the cellar.

July 6, 2015 - Well priced Barolo that could use 2-3 yrs. in cool storage to harmonize everything but accessible now. Tasted over two days. Day 1 popped/poured from 55 degree bottle showed Lite red cherry/raspberrry shadings on the nose, followed by red/black/bitter dried cherries & red plum w/light toffee notes on the midpalate ending with noticeable tannic grip that echoed on the medium length finish. Re-tasted day 2 with similar sense profile from a 62 degree bottle. Medium in body, the significant fruit acids help carry the fruit flavors to a nice conclusion. The tannins don't get in the way.
