September 10, 2020 - Very good now with great balance and a long finish. Might as well drink this year.

July 4, 2020 - Corked - put a couple of bottles (along with a few other everyday wines) in deep storage - I'll see if the other holds up.

January 15, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP : 10 completely different wines fully blind (@ My place): Very dark red. In the bouquet very ripe dark berries, some glue impressions, red fruits and herbs. On the palate ripe dark berries as well, ink, ok acidity and some sweetness. I am not a fan of this wine.

December 16, 2017 - redeemed! last bottle was corked, but this was very nice, medium-bodied. The syrah (and bonarda, whatever that is...) seems to smooth out the malbec nicely. has more time... and great apr.

November 7, 2015 - A Malbec blend that is powerful but not as graceful as we could hope. It might smooth out and become less disjointed in time. Still a deep dark baby.

August 29, 2015 - This was tremendously better the 2nd night, which tells me (1) it should have been decanted and (2) this has some short term again potential (through 2016 maybe). The addition of the Bonarda and Syrah give it a little more oomph - slightly more robust, and we thought that made it food-friendlier than some Malbecs. Really nice for the price ($10.99?).
