June 11, 2012 - Am really quite hapy with this. Definitely some funk to begin with, but quite composed and still showing some expressiveness. No big concentration, but quite light on it's feet and pleasant.

February 4, 2006 - Was more of an experience than a pleasure. Lots of funk when first opened. Mostly blew off after 1hr. Remaining wine was thin and one dimensional. Lots of age. A bit of fruit. Tasted like it was never a great wine to begin with.

(Château Carbonnieux) Just under shoulder fill; bricking dark red violet color with pale meniscus; somewhat stinky, funky, herbal, mature, stewed fruit nose; mature, slightly stewed, plum palate with iodine note; medium-plus finish
