June 9, 2023 - Very nice, and like Jeremy's old note I found this sneakily persistent.

December 11, 2022 - Lovely wine. Asian spices with cedar and cardamon on the nose. Completely balanced with earth tones, rose petals, cedar and spices on the palate. Very long palate that goes on forever. First rate wine.

December 6, 2016 - Romanée-Conti v. La Tâche: Cured jerky meats and balsa wood on the nose. Reading very thin. A little soapy with peculiar spices. On the palate however this is actually a lot better, tertiary Pinot fruit with cinnamon spices and nutmeg remaining. Some truffle as well. An odd duck.

October 9, 2012 - The 1969 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti was a little aldehydic on the nose and also had a strong scent of rosehip as well as something reminiscent of poire William. It was fine, delicate and minerally in the mouth and possessed sneaky persistence.

February 9, 2008 - A lovely and haunting wine. Really one of the finest noses of any Burgundy I've encountered. And while not greatly concentrated, the almost plummy palate was light and elegant. Just a great bottle.
