February 16, 2014 - Wow, this is solid juice for $25. I paid $45 at a restaurant and felt good about it. Dark blackberry, fine tannins, medium acidity, cherry note mid palate and a little chalky minerals. There's medium toast throughout.

November 9, 2013 - Dark in color and flavor. Plum, blackberry, roasted meat, and a bit of licorice on the end. Full-bodied with good depth.

May 29, 2013 - dark with a nice ruby colored rim, somewhat shy nose that gives off hints of pepper, ripe plum and espresso, full bodied, well-balanced, flavors of coffee, plums, black cherries and raspberries, good depth, dark and youthful, syrah characteristics show well, opened up with a bowl of chili, was a decent match
