October 9, 2022 - Joli vin sur la finesse mais loin de ce que j'attends d'un Barolo.
May 29, 2021 - A bit tired, good mature nebbiolo nose but lacking fruit on the palate, tannin soft and medium acidity.
March 1, 2019 - Très peu engageant le premier soir à l'ouverture, il s'est bien amélioré pour le lendemain soir.
On est toutefois sur un vin assez riche qui manque de délicatesse à mon goût.
Je vais attendre les prochaines bouteilles quelques années.
September 7, 2018 - Ruby red. Developed, pure Nebbiolo aromas. Relatively soft, forward and generous, with low (again relatively) acidity. Medium concentration.
November 26, 2017 - Très beau barolo et vendu à bon prix, mais je suis moins attiré par ce type de vin qu'il y a quelques années...
February 27, 2016 - Light red. In the beginning mostly sweet fruit, but a bit muted. After an hour in the glass, more nebbiolo aromas. Fruity and spicy in the mouth. Relatively round and kind for a nebbiolo, with soft tannins.
January 10, 2014 - Fresh berries, violets, aromatic herbs on the aromatic, elegant nose. The palate is quite structured, but the sweet-sour berrie fruit dominates, supported by slightly biting tannins and refreshing acidity.
October 10, 2013 - Barolo: Minerale pungente, violetta, ferro, menta, resina, pino. Naso bellissimo, intrigante. C'è anche una parte di fiori dolci e scorza di arancia. Struttura imperiosa di sapidità ricca, tannino molto composto, acidità di frutto rosso. Lungo, molto bello e con un finale leggermente amaro. Must buy!
June 30, 2013 - The Sampler Summer Tasting 2013 (The Sampler, South Kensington): Tar, tobacco and licorice. Tannins are relatively easygoing. Good but not quite as impressive as the previous times I've tasted this wine. 16.5+/20. 2015+
