February 18, 2011 - I couldn't detect any TCA, but man I hope this bottle was flawed in some other way. The worst wine ever to cross my lips.

January 6, 2011 - Had 6 bottles of this wine. The last bottle was undrinkable. However all 6 bottles has been very different. No consistency at all. Will not buy again.

August 6, 2010 - Drinking well. Some elegance, but still exhibits a typical Australian fruit-forwardness that was much more in vogue 3 years ago.

March 20, 2009 - Second bottle I had, and this time I paid a bit more attention to it. Relatively complex wine. Has quite a bit of Shiraz components to it. Also noticed a strong vegetable thing going on right after the bottle was opened. This mellowed out after 30 minutes or so.

March 15, 2009 - A very drinkable and good wine. Nothing pronounced, but well worth the price.

December 31, 2008 - Two bottles P&P at NYE party, with consistent impression. Cloudy dark cherry red in the glass, medium body. Nose of strawberry, mulberry, spice, and cedar. In the mouth jammy-fied strawberry, rhubarb, baking spice and oak mulch. A strange wine that kept changing throughout the night, at times showing alcohol and most of the time showing oak with a distinct cinammon and vanilla finish. Overall a fruity slurper that is apparently delicious as long as you don't dig beneath the surface.

December 21, 2007 - I really enjoyed this wine. Upon first opening it did seem a little reduced but that didn't bother me. I really enjoyed the bright acidity in the wine along with the loads of fruit. It was nice to taste a wine with so much fruit that still worked great with food. The wine was surprisingly pretty. Very happy with this purchase.

December 21, 2007 - Nose of forest, some greeness...maybe asparagus, but very pleasant and inviting. Lots of spice on palate, dark in the glass, but a red fruit profile with brilliant acidity that makes this very light on its feet. Lorena loved it too, and she pretty much nailed it blind as some sort of Rhone blend. Really nice sipping wine and good with tamales, of all things. Tasted as part of Jason's VLG project.

December 18, 2007 - Drank as part of the VLG virtual OL. Blend is 50% Grenache, 30% Shiraz, and 20% Mourvedre. I enjoyed this wine and it is definitely a great price. Lots of dark berry flavors on the nose and palate - blackberry and dark cherries flavors and aromas were dominate. The texture of the wine was softer than I expected with almost a silky finish. On the second day, there was a balsamic aftertaste that I did not pick up on day one. Overall, very enjoyable.
