January 23, 2017 - A superb wine made in the classical Napa style of 30 years ago. Balanced, with a fresh, vibrant nose. Velvety on the palate and a long finish. Herbs, cassis, pepper, bright cherry, pencil lead. Bordeaux styled1 person found this helpful Comment

January 14, 2017 - This blend is smooth, but thin. Expected it to be more full-bodied.
December 18, 2015 - A very nice Cab showing good balance, a mix of red and black currants, dark cherry, menthol, and classic SL chocolate; drink now or hold in the cellar for 5 years.

October 8, 2015 - Dark red color is still youthful looking. With 9 years under the belt, nose is so complex with smoke, dark cherry and cassis fruit intermixed with dark earth, forest undergrowth, and mushrooms. True to this label's heritage, it's not a typical broad-shouldered Napa fruit bomb. Suave acidity accompanied beautiful red/blue fruits hits palate with authority while keeping lightness. This is so very Bordeaux, perhaps a good Fronsac. Finish somewhat short. Very pleasant food wine.
