April 6, 2020 - REALLY good, super smooth with great balance throughout and a wonderful finish. Drinking perfectly without any decant.
January 18, 2020 - Still fantastic. Herbaceous and peppery with lingering black tea and cola flaves. But also, a fantastic pairing with bucatini alla amatriciana, so how do you like that?
November 2, 2018 - Fantastic Burgundian nose with CA Pinot on the palate (but good Sonoma Pinot). Drinking very well now. I'd say it has 3 more years left and is probably at it's peak, and I like aged wine. Drink up.
December 26, 2017 - Drank over 2 days. The nose is great. The tart acidity hangs through the finish leaving something to be desired. Notice the rim is changing color, not really browning though. Not sure how much longer.......
April 5, 2017 - Delicious, classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, with a melange of red fruits, perfectly balanced acids and tannins, and delicate hints of tobacco and iron. This wine represents an outstanding effort in a difficult vintage. Bravo!
August 14, 2016 - I really like this wine and its style. Very lean, acidic, backward, but fruit still dominant. In 5 years this will sing!
May 21, 2016 - light and complex
March 9, 2016 - A nice wine, but the acidity outshines the fruit. Cranberry, raspberry, and a touch of cola.
April 11, 2015 - Medium body, flavorful.
March 12, 2015 - Agree that at least a brief decant was helpful at this point. Wine has cherry and earthy flavors with well integrated oak. Sharp, acidic, with tight focus and a rather short finish. I recommend holding a little longer at this point. 91-93
