June 29, 2014 - Northeast Italy (and the surrounding Parts) (Cleveland): Normally, I like a bit more age on these, but this was drinking quite well. Purple/ruby in color. The nose has raspberries, black raspberries, with some floral notes. Also some vanilla and spice. Lush texture balanced by bright acidity. On the palate, this is concentrated and tightly wound. I would think 3 to 5 years would allow this to unwind. Long finish. Just a beautiful wine.

February 23, 2014 - Tasting of Foradori and Montesecondo with Elisabetta Foradori and Silvio Messana (San Francisco Wine Trading Company): Not quite as inky as the other 2 reds. Closed aromatically. Tight and more backward. Noticeable wood base, sweeter black fruit, smokiness and slightly astringent wood tannins. A baby and much to admire, but the oak detracted a bit compared to the purity of the first 2 Teroldegos.

October 25, 2013 - Impressively deep ruby. Also deep and sappy on the palate with red and black fruit, licorice and a twist of VA that gives it some lift. Ripe with very round tannins that are buried by the fruit. Approachable, indeed enjoyable, because of the volume of fruit and glyceral feel, but surely better with more time.

August 17, 2013 - Just a beauty for its grace combined with hard edged power. Just opened, we shall see how it comes around, but I am thinking lay down for a little while. But uh... I love it right now.
