July 3, 2017 - Opened, poured into a decanter, and served with food (home made gyro, in case you were wondering). Recorked half into a 375ml bottle to taste again.
Dark purple color. Nose shows some dark fruits and a hint of licorice and vanilla extract.
Nice round fruits with a mix of dark cherries and red sour cherries with a good does of acidity on the back end that carries the wine. This drinks like a 10 year old cabernet. Well balanced and quite enjoyable.

January 3, 2017 - Can't tell if it's too late or too early to have opened this bottle--not much fruit evident, good acidity, dusty tannins.

August 23, 2016 - Tuesday Night Double Blind Tasting, $30-$50 (Bin 75): Dark purple. Nose a bit muted. Rich, fresh fruit, but a bit short. New, but doesn't have oak overpowering it. This one stumped everyone. Definitely would want to hold these a few years, it's in a bit of a dumb phase right now.

June 16, 2016 - PnP. Still hiding a bit, but the pieces are all there. 13%

April 16, 2016 - Nose of blackberry compote and smoke.

Flavors follow the nose. There's a great depth to the wine, while remaining light. On pop and pour the puckering tannins overwhelmed, but with time in a decanter, the wine smoothed out and a nice earthy note appeared. Light+ on the palate, this wine is built for aging -- drink now (with copious air) -- but better in 5 years -- through 2030. Yummy.
