January 26, 2017 - Rouget Echezeaux Dinner (Christopher's - Phoenix AZ): Small glass, brief note. Lots of petrol notes with rich floral start and hints of almond butter and marzipan that implied a sense of sweetness that wasn't there. Rich and opulent palate, particularly to start, then more backward and firm middle to finish. I'd think this will keep improving over the next decade.

December 2, 2016 - Christmas Dinner Søllerød 2016 (Søllerød Kro): Probably the most accesible version of this normally rather strict cuvee, that I have ever tasted, it is vintage-assisted in the sense. It displays some richesse, tremendous concentration (as usual) and a very good acidity, citrus galore and minerality (as usual). This will go a long way, but can be drunk now, if you pair it with food, and it is sustainable, when it comes to that

August 11, 2016 - Clearly a special wine. The nose here is gorgeous with precisely detailed fruit and mineral flavors. On the palate is young and closed in on itself now. Imagine this will mature into a special wine with time.

August 11, 2016 - All petrol on the nose; deep and heady. Ripe stone fruits and mineral notes. Showing very well for a young CsH.

August 11, 2016 - Stunning aromas, floral and spicy with candied lemon and dried stone fruit. Hints of the same on palate, but shy, reserved and backward with great density. I'd consider this to have 93-95 point potential but requiring another decade+ in the cellar. Very intriguing.
