May 11, 2024 - Medium deep ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of well developed, ripe red fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with slight orange rind notes, spices, cherry-cola, earthy/dusty notes, tea, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of developed, well balanced & smooth textured, rich, ripe fruit flavors of tart cherries, sweet blueberries & plums with spices, cola, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering silky-smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 12 years of age, it should develop slightly further with additional aging. Fill was level with the capsule; cork was clean & intact. A lovely wine from a much-herald vintage.
April 7, 2023 - Deep, dark red. Nose and palate were both similar. Intense black raspberry and black cherry with some spice. Nice balance with a long finish. Seems to have plenty of years left.

November 17, 2015 - Rated on the 2nd night. Fragrant nose, berries and flowers with a hint of cedar. Palate is a complex fruit basket, cherry, raspberry and blackberry, very lush and enveloping. Transitions nicely through the mid as the flavors evolve to ultra silky tannins, long finish. A nicely made wine from a beautiful vintage.
January 24, 2015 - WOTN in my opinion. Really nice nose of fresh berries, floral notes and minerals. Wound a little tight, even after a bottle decant. Opened nicely over the course of the evening. Went nicely with the Beef Bourgone.
