December 26, 2018 - This has held up wonderfully and was a great wine to celebrate on my birthday. It had very soft tannins and had a fairly long finish. It should be on the downside but it is still very delicious.

January 10, 2018 - Stored in a temperature controlled wine cabinet.
Color was very clear, ruby red. Legs were few and slow. There was moderate sediment and the wine was decanted. Short time after opening the aroma was of a dry West Texas wind (somewhat dusty), but this gave way later into a light floral aroma. The body was medium with a smooth texture. Flavor also developed from early earthy to moderate fruit, clearly a mature Cabernet. The wine finished short with a 4-5 second after taste. Acidity and tannin was low. Did not have with food, could have easily been overpowered. Shared between two people, the wine left me feeling nothing else was needed, any second bottle would have had to be exceptional to not spoil the night.

February 15, 2014 - Surprisingly pleasant for a wine this old from that lousy a vintage.

October 23, 2010 - Still holding, but lack of depth forced this rating
