  July 6, 2022 - A little harsh at the start, but smoothed out as the bottle got air. Pleasant, but unremarkable bottle. Nice with a Wednesday night dinner!

  September 2, 2021 - Tried this with a spicy bratwurst concoction. Hmmm. Didn't complement the dish as I had expected. Gassed half the bottle and will try again. My last note suggests that it just needs time to open and resolve. We'll see...

  January 23, 2021 - Interesting arc over the evening. When first opened, the wine was rustic -- showing a coarseness and brambly flavors but with good fruit.
  After an hour or so the wine smoothed out. Both versions were fine, but we preferred the latter. Score from the end of the evening.

  December 24, 2020 - Perfectly balanced wine, but not much of flavor profile development with aging, it more has lost the fat and oomph.

  when last reviewed July 2018. Perhaps showing a bit more acidity, a little less fruit. A perfect pizza wine!
