October 25, 2015 - Bonneau du Martray Dinner with Jean-Charles le Bault de la Morinière (RPM Italian - Chicago IL): This wine might keep getting better and better with more time in the cellar. Superb concentration with balance. This will last.

October 11, 2015 - Some of these older Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagnes seem like they can last forever, and this was one of those bottles. Very youthful in both appearance and taste, this started off with a zesty citrus streak that really characterized the wine. Over time, the wine picked up more weight and fleshy yellow fruit nicely complemented the acidity. Not as amazing as other vintages of this I’ve had, but still a very, very enjoyable wine.

October 11, 2015 - Very light yellow and youthful appearing. Steak of lemon acidity and minerality which held up throughout the night. I can imagine this going another decade or two.

September 17, 2015 - Medium-light to light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of well developed & mature, complex, ripe citrus fruit aromas of lemon/lime, apples & peaches with mineral/stony & chalky overtones, floral notes of honeysuckle, spices, honey, earthy, butterscotch, vanilla & toasty oak. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, developed & mature, complex, unctuous, rich, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes, pear & yellow peaches with minerals, stony, baking spices, honey, a touch of vanilla & butterscotch. Long lingering with a crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present and although it may be at the peak of its development, it has the structure and fruit to hold into its current plateau for a few additional years longer.

May 7, 2015 - Lovely at the end of the night with cheese. Not as big / rich / powerful as I recall the 1985 being. Think I prefer the 85.
