j'ai cru que le vin était ok mais après qques minutes il n'y avait plus de doute.
On pouvait malgré tout sentir un beau mélange de fruit foncé, de fleur & le tout légèrement "goudronné"...
Malheureusement, il avait se voile de bois & carton mouillée qui était omniprésent.

April 2, 2016 - Similar to bottle on 9/15.
Deep red clear in the glass. Open and aromatic with cherry, orange peel, roses, cocoa, and mint. Same notes on the palate. Full and silky mouthfeel. Long, mint finish. Some powdery tannins remain, but not to the degree that would be "tannic".
Wonderful bottle of Barolo!
This after 24hrs in stopped decanter at 4C.

March 31, 2016 - Pop and poured at a restaurant, paired with Ossobuco. A little tight with heat from the alcohol when opened but after about 15min opened up nicely and continued to open over the next hour. I would recommend an hour pluse of slow O before drinking. Wine was very approachable and very well balanced with good acidity and still a strong tannin backbone. Cherry, tobacco and leather on the palate very much a food wine.
