March 19, 2023 - Long taste and deep color with honey sent. Is this a Cab? And still last for 13!! Years.

February 26, 2023 - 26022023 - 5 ⭐️ luncheon hosted by SKT with 14 bottles of wines & 2 aged cognacs. Our 2nd round of 4 bottles tasted blind curated by SKT. Horizontal 2010 from 4 great producers. The finale of all the reds! Pretty tipsy by now. Felt this was way too young and thought this was a Chilean Bordeaux blend. Nose filled with ripe cherries & plums, plenty of bell pepper, oak, chocolate and vanilla. Heavily fruit driven on the palate and the tannins are still rather grainy. Too young in my opinion. Definitely can age longer

March 2, 2022 - Stag's Leap Library Wine Tasting (Heritage Gallery - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, direct from winery. Lots here while also subdued and very subtle with bright textures. Our group liked this quite a bit, but I imagine this isn't as favored by the typical Napa Cab crowd. Long and energetic finish.

August 26, 2021 - Best bottle (Weindorf Kirchheim, Waldhorn Laube): Tasted blind. Popped and poured. Deep, youthful color. Nose with lots of warm, ripe fruit, soft and elegant.
On the palate warm, ripe fruit, lots of amarena cherry. Silky texture. Creamy mouthfeel. Craves for a bloody steak :) Very good wine at the edge of beeing too fat or broad, but never crossing it. Lacks a bit of tension and energy to be really great. But nevertheless a beautiful wine. 91-92
