April 12, 2023 - Light hay in color, lovely nose, though more crushed fruit than sea or beach. Preuses all the way, meaning more voluotuous, lush, less sea and mineral, though there are traces of both, along with a a touch of lush fruit on the finish, and some nice umami salinity. Delicious now, but I question if there is much room for improvement with more time in bottle. Feels like a peak wine, without a lot of upside potential .

February 25, 2023 - This was a bit green and tart for me and I was less aware of the saline minerality I like in their other “clos”

July 24, 2022 - Tasted sxs against the Fevre 12 Clos. The first thing that hit me was the nose - wonderful minerality, graphite, chalky notes. Took 30-45 min for the palate to reflect the nose. (Don't drink this one too cold.) Was delightful. The Clos is even more elegant of course but this one was a beauty.

April 24, 2022 - Liked it but didn’t love it, everything is dialed down from previous experiences, lemon peel, green apples and saline minerals on the nose, similar palate but the lemon peel really dominates the finish yields a somewhat austere bitter finish

April 24, 2022 - As always with the WF outfit, we have great quality in fruit selection and depth.

This is a very big wine, which only settled down on the third day (self-restraint is my middle name). Up until then, it was a little over-blown and slightly fat. Good acidity but the mid palate was just too monolithic.

Possibly the vintage; possibly les Preuses. I don't know.

    April 22, 2022 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -translucent shimmering green-gold
    -classic ocean scents
-med/med+ acidity lifts the med weight sappy dense green apple citrus saline mineral, great length
-powerful for Fevre, complex, Grand Cru material squarely on its prime drinking plateau

August 8, 2021 - Intriguing and almost delicate nose of lemon, minerals, flint, and stone fruit. Great acidity with lemon/lime, crushed rocks, saline notes, and herbs on the palate. Long finish. Very impressive, compared to recent warm vintage Preuses (Dauvissat 09/15), this is much more restrained and higher pitched. Feels like it could use another 7-10 years to be at it’s peak. Excellent wine!
