Community Tasting Notes 36

November 1, 2018 - Cranberry, cherry and we'll rounded spices that remind me of a fall potpourri mix. A fairly big, fruity wine with being overly extracted. Finishes with notes of pomegranate on the palate.

Big enough to go well with a rich cream sauce or turkey and gravy.

Found this enjoyable on the second night so could probably go another 2 years.

January 11, 2018 - Well developed and expressive fruit driven wine. Well balanced.

November 26, 2016 - Tart cranberry and cherry predominate, accented by mulling spices, it is pleasant but held back by a bitterness on the finish that intensifies with air. It works well with leftover turkey, gravy, sage cornbread and Challah dressing, and cranberry/orange congealed salad, which tame the bitterness and accentuate the fruit and spice.

November 22, 2016 - Just read my previous notes. This wine continues to impress, Ed does Cali Pinot like nobody else in a very good way. This wine has age worthyness written all over it. I need to get a few more and revisit in 10 years.

October 11, 2016 - Mostly red fruit, cranberry, cherry, earthy, spices, and orange zest. This has big flavors and big aromatics. The fruit is juicy and pure, and the wine has a smooth texture and long finish.
