November 21, 2022 - Doran's. Sweet and foresty with just a hint of green bell pepper, guessed it was mostly CF where in fact it's mostly CS with only 30% CF. Showed very well, as most 2011's do now.

November 19, 2022 - Served blind. Confected berry nose. Almost delicate. Clearly a cool vintage.

April 18, 2020 - Much more interesting than the last bottle (which was thin and hollow on the mid-palate). Blackberry, currant, blueberry all fairly lush with a bit of olive juice underneath. Nicely balanced with silky tannins. Drinking nicely.

February 14, 2020 - Picked up recently on closeout for low 20s. Blackberry, black cherry, bell pepper, bits of dusty road. All right but found the mid-palate to be a little too hollow.

April 13, 2019 - Brought to a dinner with friends. It was opened and aerated for an hour. Lovely nose, full bodied with soft tannins midpalate. Lovely dark fruits with enticing herbal hints.

April 15, 2018 - Poor notes. Black in the glass. Herbal / bell pepper, blackberry & black currants on nose. Similar flavor profile on palate - high acidity, medium tannins / body and long finish - herbal notes are not a flaw but create interest. 91++

November 26, 2017 - Drinking beautifully now. Balanced and powerful but subdue and mellow. Decant for at east 30 minutes before drinking.
