April 26, 2016 - Two visitors, three birthdays and seventeen wines from all over. (ABA Turkish Restaurant): Not my style, but showing well for what it is. It has an unctuous texture with plenty of ripe peach and orchard fruit flavors and aromas. Lots of butterscotch character, though the oak is integrated. A little bit higher acid levels would perk things up, but it's certainly not low acid. Mature, but without a lot of oxidation showing. B+.

December 12, 2011 - Dark straw. Bright and precise with a nice schwack of citrus pith and dried floral notes. A bit more concentration than the Charmes but leaner and brighter with more mineral, stoney and floral notes without the mid-palate weight and nuttiness. Less oxidation than the Charmes, clean cork, proper storage.
January 26, 2007 - As per note from NBovemeber, not frankly oxidized but a bit tired. Very complex, with honeysuckle nose. Held up okay in fridge over two days.
November 22, 2005 - Hmmm. Not frankly oxidized, but seems a bit old before its time. Color is medium yellow, not especially dark. Flvors are complex, with lots of acidity but otherwise a very mature flavor profile. No bitterness or sherry-like aspects when opened, and quite drinkable. However, by 72 hrs after opening there were strong sherry smells and flavours. Not dead, but on its last legs. Cork was fine; no leakage, blue streaks or obvious defects.
