August 7, 2023 - My first time drinking a young-ish Faiveley CC, I've had some older bottles that were great, so wasn't sure what to expect here. So fresh and tasty, lots of minerals and super bright acidity. Golden yellow, with rich and pretty fruit, but not particularly weighty for a CC. Quite good!

June 30, 2022 - On opening this wine shows a deep pure golden colour and a nose of green apples, pear, lemon and lime with touches of pineapple and an intense minerality. The palate has a rich entry of apple and pear fruit with a touch of brown spice and pineapple leading into a lovely grippy finish of limestone minerality. There is plenty of underlying material here in a classic old fashioned Burgundy way that is very appealing. Good stuff !

February 16, 2022 - This has the CC edginess that I quite like. Slightly rough perhaps, almost rustic. Full bodied.

December 6, 2017 - J50 (Copenhagen): They are really improving things here; mineral, vibrant nerve, citrus, a bit of popcorn, much too young (at least from this format), will gain weight and improve. 93++

May 17, 2016 - Acker Burgundy Dinner (The Writing Room (88th & 2nd Ave)): When I think of wines that pair with duck I would prob have put white burgundy towards the bottom of the list - clearly above a German Riesling or a Cali Sav Blanc, but not so very much above. Turns out I was wrong. This held up pretty well with the meat (as did the wine following it). Lemon, smoke (perhaps pulled from the meat), hints of basil. Interesting pairing.
