May 22, 2015 - More field blend than straight-up zin, this vintage has lost its pop. Still getting notes of plum, black and red fruit, white pepper on the nose; but palate lacks distinction. Medium finish. Drink up!
September 8, 2014 - Purple (petite syrah really comes through) and red fruit, oak on the nose; red fruit, white pepper and oak on the palate. Good structure - round, medium bodied - and satisfying finish. Food friendly.
March 30, 2014 - Aerated. Nice structure and balance. Not overly fruity. Went very well with Spanish cheese and other appetizers. As others have noted, does not drink so much like a zin but I'm not a huge zin fan so that's good.
March 12, 2014 - Much more balanced than the last bottle. Pepper and red fruit on the palate. Food friendly and pleasant.
January 24, 2014 - 14.2%, very parfumed, elegant and not so zin-like, good structure. +++
January 22, 2014 - dark red, purple, in color. spice, blackberry, plum, on the nose. oak, spice, pepper, earth, menthol, on the palate. medium acid, medium tannins, on the finish.
December 23, 2013 - Less zin-like than earlier vintages that I remember. Acidic, a bit out of balance. Better with food.
November 16, 2013 - Always a reliably refined, elegant, and structured Zin with bright and dark berry flavors that blend well with the touch of oak and tannin. Delicious.
