January 1, 2024 - Oyster white colour with fine bubbles and quite frothy. Delicately floral on the nose. Clean and biscuity on the palate with a smooth, refreshing finish. One of my favourite champagnes.
August 20, 2023 - Monthly wine group at BLVD Kitchen Minnetonka MN. "PNs from Anywhere" theme. Forgot how much I like this Champagne and best bubbly of the night at BLVD Kitchen. I need to grab some of these next time its offered. Well fruited, minerally with excellent concentration and intensity. BRAVO!
August 20, 2023 - Monthly Tasting Group: Pinots for Anywhere (BLVD Kitchen & Bar, Wayzata, MN): Light gold color. Small glass. Laser focused, fresh, taosty, pear, brioche, a little citrus on the finish. Loved it.
December 9, 2022 - In der Nase einerseits eher zurückhaltend und etwas in sich gekehrt, andererseits dabei durchaus mit Farbe von etwas gelbem Kernobst, dunkler Floralität, ganz leicht gerösteten Haselnüssen und etwas Brot-Rinde samt zugehörigem Gewürz. Minimal laktisch.
Am Gaumen ebenfalls eher dunkel im Eindruck, trotzdem deutlich kreidig. Auch hier sehr angenehm zurückhaltend nussig, wirklich sehr trocken, dabei allerdings auch mit wirklich extrem gut eingepackter und trotzdem immer schiebender Säure. Immer mal wieder blitzt ein leicht oxidativer Eindruck hervor, der mit Sicherheit von den ganz besonders gelagerten Reserve-Weinen stammt.
Elegant, unaufgeregt, nachhaltig, anhaltend. Ein Vergnügen.

December 31, 2020 - Nose stony minerality, toast hints, green apple and sea water. Palate incisively acidic and dry. Fruit and mineral codominate along with some fresh bread and light toast. This is really great juice.

December 10, 2020 - 45% reserve wine. And apparently that is all under magnum. Delicious with that chocolate toast thing going on. 2 g/L dosage. Darn that is good.
December 6, 2020 - From a magnum; 2014 base. This really punches above its weight. Intense but elegant, great cut to foil the richness. Doughy apple and citrus, mineral. I immediately back-filled several magnums.
