Community Tasting Notes 5

January 5, 2019 - Pale and diluted hay colour. Continues with those citrus and metal memories. Also some limestone and little else. On the palate aniseed notes along with white fruit. Very watery texture, small bubble and short length. Not very sweet anyway. As you can see, nothing really serious specially if compared with last Pol Roger.
For experimenting it was worth to let it rest for a year but it is still a quite ordinary champagne. At least its price does not deceive.

January 6, 2018 - Semana de Reyes; 1/1/2018-1/7/2018 (Madrid): I liked it more than the last time I tried it, it was by the glass.
Instead of oxidants like apple pie, this time points more towards aromas of Hawaiian pizza (yeast and pineapple) or primary limestone. On the palate is very signed by a citric acidity and a short length. Watery mouthfeel. Maybe worths leaving a bottle ageing in my cellar.

October 9, 2017 - Served by the glass from a bottle theoretically opened last Saturday. Surprisingly effective on the nose with that punch of PN, PM too? that brings memories of apple pie. Sightly oxidative. A rough champagne but more than acceptable. In the mouth, once the rustic bubble is removed, it is so soft, with a watery texture sliding down the throat without giving a great satisfaction, leaving in any case a slightly bitter aftertaste and an acid that calls for a new drink. For those less demanding palates.

November 20, 2016 - Very simple. Easy drinking. Golden yellow color. Some apples and pear on the palate.

November 21, 2013 - A hyper vivid style, big mineral , and strong lemon juice. Not for a dessert. Perhaps a bit green. A good champagne very dry. 84, according to CT rating scale policy.
