September 1, 2015 - Well, this confirmed that Pinot Gris/Grigio is not among my favorite white wines and why I only purchase a bottle every 2+ years or so. Once open, I found this to be all over the place (or maybe it was just the taster): PnP and thought "This is pretty good - nice acidity, delicious creamy lemon notes on the palate, better-than-expected complexity, etc" 10 minutes later with food it seemed lesser on all counts. 30 minutes later, the same. Next evening... surprise! More like when I opened it.
On its own and compared to other domestic Pinot Gris, I found this to be above average, though not the best I've had. (I think I enjoyed a 2010 or 2011 Pinot Gris from Lost River Winery a little more... which incidentally was the only Lost River wine I enjoyed out of several reds and whites I tried back then.)
Am thinking I should have had this a year ago...
