December 25, 2014 - Two bottles for Xmas. Well-aged in my parents cellar for five years.
Biscuity aromas on the nose. Lovely driest on the palate cutting flavours for the next sweet dessert. Really effective drink.

Dos botellas para Navidad. Bien envejecidas en la bodega de mis padres por cinco años.
Aromas a bizcocho en nariz. Ricamente de lo más seco en boca cortando sabores para el siguiente dulce. Un trago realmente efectivo.

December 7, 2014 - One dimensional when first poured but gained some character as it breathed and warmed in the glass. Apple, yeast, lemon/citrus, and a strong hit of ginger that imparted both spice and a somewhat bitter note. The finish feels hollow. For a daily drinker sparkler, I prefer the Rotari Brut for about a third of the price.

November 11, 2014 - At a retailer tasting. A sweeter style than most others at the tasting. Notes of cotton candy and citrus fruit. 87 points.

November 10, 2014 - Simple and straightforward. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing remarkable.

(NV Heidsieck & Co Monopole Blue Top Brut Champagne) Brings some nice aromatic complexity with pear, a light nuttiness, and abundant spice. The palate is light, creamy and tart with a lingering, spice filled finish.

(NV Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Blue Top Brut Champagne) Purchased Summer 2000. An attractive light onion-skin colour. Fairly coarse bead. The nose carries a light yeastiness together with some citrus fruit. A middle of the road palate, with more subtle biscuity yeasty notes sitting with sharp citrus fruit acidity. Mousse is a little aggressive. Pleasant drinking.
