  September 5, 2023 - Despite good storage, this cork shattered when I removed it, made a popping noise like a champagne cork. Really weird since I detected no carbonation or unexpected fermentation (spoilage organism) in the wine. This was bit flat, with purple grape, prune and fat notes that seemed to lack much acidity at all. Very flat on the tongue, like week old coke from a 2L bottle. It needs to be drunk now. No acidity to hold up the still evident fruit. Last bottle.

  April 3, 2023 - Nice nose of sous bois and Herbes de Provence, cranberry. Flavors are lively, slightly roasted coffee notes, cherry, evergreen sap. Drink now, maybe 2 years.

  March 4, 2022 - Blackberries and plums along with licorice, mint, and herbalness in the nose. Dark fruits in the flavor. Nicely balanced, medium to full bodied, and a medium length finish.
