April 10, 2016 - My last bottle of this wine. Little to add to my 2/19/15 note. Excellent Bordeaux blend from Reynolds. Made in a leaner and more energetic style than some previous vintages.
February 19, 2015 - The 2010 Reynolds Persistence is a delicious blend showing loads of complexity matched with a silky, easy-going personality. Clear dark garnet. Nose of blackberry, smoke, vanilla, and cedar. Ripe full palate of blackberry, plum, cassis, licorice, and restrained oak. Excellent length. Vibrant acidity. Sweet tannins.
December 24, 2014 - Red currants, liquorice, tobacco, and smoke on the nose. High tannins and decent finish.
November 5, 2014 - Drank with JD. Very good. Deep, dark, good nose and balance.
November 5, 2014 - Loved this bottle. Decanted for an hour or so and that was plenty.
February 6, 2014 - 60/15/15/8/2 Cab/Merlot/Cab Franc/Syrah/PV. Shows eucalyptus, sour blackberry, black plum, raisin, mint, sweet tannins. A little too extracted and raisinated for me.
