February 16, 2016 - Well, color me surprised. This was opened by a friend tonight during a casual business meeting and it showed extremely well. Deep yellow color with a youthful bouquet of pear, citrus and Lily-of-the-Valley floral qualities. Rich and full without being heavy, with lemon, citrus, honeysuckle and wet stone qualities. I tend to think Parker is full of crap when he likens Kistler/Peter Michael/big CA Chard to Corton Charlemagne or nearly any other terrific Burgundy, but there was definitely a hint of that here. It had the richness and citrus of a great Corton Charlie, so I can't argue with his assessment of this one. Pristine examples such as this will hold a few years yet, but I have no doubt that this bottle was an exception and I certainly wouldn't expect too many more like it.

July 18, 2015 - pale yellow;exotic nose of tropical fruit and spices ;very exotic coconut and brioche vanilla on the palate; good balance and enough acidity for me(acid is not my yardstic);med finish but look how old it is !!

January 31, 2015 - Surprised to find that while some slight nutty flavors from age, this is still s fine drink. Rich lush and bold yet nicely balanced. In the style of a Batard. Drink up.

December 23, 2014 - Still drinking very nicely after all those years. No sign of oxidation.
