October 26, 2014 - Consumed by my wife and she says it was slightly less mineral than the 2001 Kistler Kistler Vineyard they had alongside with it.

October 16, 2013 - Medium gold with a green hue, clear, quite little edge variation - the color did not yield much of a clue as to the true age of the wine. Initially a bit reserved on the nose, opening with some time and a little warming. Lemon oil, roasted pineapple, brioche, roasted nuts, nice acid and mineral core. Certainly time to drink up, but a nice example of aged Cali Chard.

April 13, 2013 - Most Kistler's of this age have failed, but this one with 12 hours of air comes around.

January 24, 2013 - found in cellar! COrk was stained to the top but the wine itself was still fresh. The nose was chalkyand minerally. The Color was pale gold and not as evolved as I expected and the buttery and lemon notes that this carried before are now a bit less articulate and the alcohol seems heavy. While it is past its peak it is still a worthy drink if as a weighty and classic Kistler. still drinking well...

January 19, 2011 - Still hanging in there. Quite nice and, as is typical, puts on weight with air and as it warms up.

November 6, 2009 - buttered popcorn aroma mixed with a spritzy saline, wet rocks
    gold hue
full bodied, typical of kistler with a lemony acidity to balance at the end

May 2, 2009 - VANILLA, OAK, NUTS, CITRUS, AND APPLES IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR. NICE COMPLEXITY AND A LONG FINISH.

May 1, 2009 - this is hanging in there, but if you have 'em, i'd say drink 'em. some lemon curd and mild oak, a little cumbersome. i'm pretty certain this was my bottle before gifting it to the provider just after release.
