Community Tasting Notes 4

December 26, 2015 - Stylistically lighter, this has a well balanced core of red fruit and just the right amount of structure. Excellent with food, I could see it coming off as a bit underwhelming on its own.

November 25, 2014 - APPEARANCE: Lighter than most California Merlots I've had. Watery edges.
AROMA: Strong aroma of leather and plums mingled with a touch of oak. An enjoyable nose.
TASTE: Velvety smooth with nicely integrated tannins. Coats the palate, but has a medium to short finish.

February 25, 2014 - Aromas of plum, red raspberry, and graphite. Exciting nose but the palate falls off leaving only dry tannins and very little flavor.

September 18, 2013 - Vintage Imports Tasting (World Cafe Live, Philadelphia): Very nice Napa Merlot, showing some savory notes already on the nose, smooth and clean on the palate.
