November 29, 2023 - Gorgeous amber colour with an oxidative, slightly cheesy nose. The palate has lots of flavour, sultanas, orange peel, Indian spices, medium sweet and a gentle warmth on the mid palate and a long finish. This is a great wine at £16 and easy to enjoy on its own or with cheese, chocolate and nuts.
April 23, 2021 - This lighter, drier style of Madeira is very drinkable. Cooked/raisin fruit, but still fresh with a very slight saline finish. Slightly chilled makes a great aperitif or digestive.
September 26, 2018 - Amber color, clear, no sediments.
Dried fruit, floral, caramel, ripe fruit.
Full bodied, good acidity, very long, great consentration, Almost juicy, and finishes with some sweetness.
Complex, very good length and acidity. Very food friendly!
April 27, 2018 - A private lunch (Restaurant Frantzén ***, Stockholm, Sweden): Intense yet elegant, medium dry, caramelly and nutty, citrus and peach, touch of warmth from the five years on oak, gentle but fresh acidity, harmonious, subtle bitters, slightly tight finish, very good length.

December 20, 2016 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #014: Madeira (@ RW and by RW): In the bouquet raisins, walnuts and oranges. On the palate the same impressions and also sherry, a lot of bitterness and a bit edgy. Not my favorite.

March 6, 2016 - Always nice with Madeira, but this lacks a bit of intensity and complexity. Was expecting more at 25€.
February 7, 2016 - Ingen superfokuserad analys kanske eftersom vi var bortbjudna och hade druckit en del innan men here goes:
Doft: Oxiderat, nötigt (som i en Sherry i oxidativ stil), karamelliserat socker, torkad frukt i form av gula russin samt fräschare toner åt apelsinzest.
Smak: Oxiderat, nötigt, torkat med ok syra för att vara Madeira. Ganska bra koncentration. Halvsött. Lite för påtaglig spritighet.
Gillade absolut även om det inte är en supermadeira. Lite mer syra, mer koncentration och lite mindre påtaglig alkohol (det hade väl högre koncentration löst) hade inte skadat. 88p
February 4, 2016 - Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira): Bright, fresh and lively, the slight sweetness is balanced with fresh acidity. Enjoyable flavors of orange and lemon peels.
