December 11, 2021 - The wine looks light gold colored. It smells like lemon, apple and pear. It tastes like pear, apple and lime. No flavor overpowers. A very nice carbonation and the crackle of bubbles are nice on the ear and on the tongue.
April 10, 2020 - Cork slid out too easily and tasted a bit musty
June 7, 2019 - non vintage but I purchased the bottle in 2013. Still fantastic, clean/crisp, light gold in color, limestone, brioche, slightly nutty, wonderfully long finish at least 10 seconds. Definitely improved with age and can stand a few more years in the cellar.
November 22, 2018 - Still bright, good effervescence, yummy.
March 9, 2018 - Still going strong. Golden color, bubbles good but fade quickly, nice fruit still, minerality has taken 2nd seat. I don't know how long this has but it has aged very well for a 4-5 year old non vintage brut.
February 18, 2017 - It'll do.
July 30, 2016 - A nice crisp example. Had some toasty notes.
April 2, 2016 - God Champagne lavet efter de bedste franske traditioner
December 19, 2015 - Nothing special, but crisp and clean - picked up for $20 and worth that price :)
June 23, 2015 - I have been drinking more champagne and sparkling wine than every before. Last week was a bottle of Veuve, the week before, a bottle of Perrier-Jouet and a PJ Rose. Mumm does a nice job and produces a consistent wine. For the money though, I would prefer some other bottles of bubbles. I would never turn my nose up to a glass if offered, but not sure that I would purchase again at $45. Just my opinion. What do you think?
