October 31, 2013 - Really lovely bright but deep red colour. From what I understand the grapes for this wine were picked closest to some large gumtrees in the vineyard in an attempt to lift some of the eucalyptus characters into the wine - and the winemakers have certainly succeeded in what they set out to do! The nose is somewhat pronounced with dark fruit with hints of gumleaf. The palate has great mouthfeel, it's medium to full bodied with fantastic length. It goes on and on. Really interesting stuff.
