    December 7, 2014 - really grapefruity

December 6, 2014 - An Evening in the Loire Valley: Westchester Wine School (White Plains, NY): Drank at WWS Loire tasting. Pale to medium straw color. A bit deeper gold and weightier than the Sancerre we drank this with. Lots of minerality here, stones & slate. Not so much fruit. The 2 Fumes and 1 Sancerre in this flight were all much more in the mineral family than fruit. Need food with these wines.

October 31, 2014 - Very balanced, easy to drink. Minerality combined with pleasant fruits.

August 12, 2014 - Slightly hazy straw. Honey inflected citrus with some round stones. Grapefruit and blood orange on a background of salty minerality, chalk and herbs all enlivened by nervy acidity. Light framed, crisp and focused. Has a very clear, pristine feel to it. I love Rosenthal.
